“Mint Leaf of London” is a contemporary fine dining restaurant that serves a great selection of Indian Cuisine. Chef Pradeep Khullar has redesigned the future of Indian culinary along with his new and revamped menu. Located on the 15th Floor of the Emirates Financial Towers in the heart of Dubai the restaurant and lounge offers spectacular views for your eyes to feast upon while your taste buds are busy with the flavourful items on the menu.
The restaurant does offer tasting menu’s for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at AED 245 per person. We however went in for the A la carte.
3 ways chicken tikka: Every non-vegetarian Indian’s favourite chicken tikka is served here in enormous portions (Good for 3 persons) in 3 different flavours – Lemon, Saffron and the Classic and is served with the traditional mint chutney.
The main course items below were paired with the delicious chilli garlic naan.
Butter Chicken: No meal at an indian restaurant is complete without butter chicken. This stands to be one of the signature items in the non-vegetarian mains. However, the butter chicken was too creamy to my taste and was missing the “tadka” and the zing needed to enjoy it fully.
Lehsuni Jhinga Saufiyani: Jumbo prawns served in tomato sauce has to be my favourite item on the menu. The prawns are well battered and fried tempura style and then flavoured in the indian spices giving it that tangy yet spicy curry taste.
PB&C Nougat Bar: If you’ve ever tried the Snickers Ice cream then this just a well presented version of the same. Its a peanut butter and caramel based ice cream dessert. If you’re staying back at Mint Leaf of London for dessert, then this is not the ideal one.
Gulaab Jamun Cheesecake: The best of both worlds, Indian and Western come together in this delicious dessert where the two most favourite desserts – Cheesecake and Gulaab Jamun are put together and served with a delicious salted Caramel sauce that will give you the perfect happy ending your meal deserves.
